About the treatment

We take special care to pay very close attention to a detailed analysis of patients who have had previous spine surgeries. Often there are a constellation of diagnoses that are unique to cases of failed or unsuccessful previous surgery.

Our providers take special interest in, and have extensive experience in, cases referred by other surgeons that require everything from second opinions to extensive and involved revision-redo surgery.

Oftentimes structural surgery is required to realign the spine, to perform further decompression, or even total spine reconstruction. Patients may have been given a spinal cord stimulator as an attempt to treat the symptoms or mask the pain of failed back surgery.

We have extensive experience in cases where stimulators provide inadequate results and the root cause of the problem must be discovered and addressed. These can often be very involved cases, and we will support you and walk you through this process step-by-step.
